Arrabelle at Vail Square

The luxurious Arrabelle, located in Lionshead at the new Vail Square, is set to have its grand opening on January 5th, 2008. This condominium hotel project will set a whole new standard for what to expect in real estate in the Vail Valley and Colorado real estate over all. The finishing touches are being added to this European inspired building to prepare for the Grand Opening. 

When completed, the Arrabelle will feature 36 luxury guest rooms around 550 square feet and 70 privately owned residences and penthouse condominiums.  Hotel rooms range from the Deluxe at 490 square feet including marble bathrooms with TV’s and fireplace to the Arrabelle King Suite which is the largest hotel room being a 990 square foot retreat. There are 4 different room sizes all including fireplaces.

The residences offer the chance to own a piece of Vail Colorado resort real estate in an incredible location, with the full services of a hotel environment for as much pampering as you desire.  Guests will have every amenity available to them including a state of the art 10,000 square foot Spa and fitness center, rooftop pools, fine dining restaurants, retail shopping and ski Valets.  The retail stores compile a mixture of local shops around a plaza such as Vail Sports and nationwide favorites including Starbuck and Patagonia. The Lionshead, Vail Square building, began a wave of re-development in real estate projects in Vail Colorado and the surrounding ski towns including Avon and Beaver Creek. The original real estate sales of the condominiums were by lottery and for some condominiums there were as many as 25 people wanting a particular property. Resales happened shortly after construction started and the prices have escalated ever since. One of the largest penthouses went from a presale price of $9.195 million to a first resale asking price of $14.5 million.
 

 It stands seven stories tall and gets its charming architectural style from European inspired city’s including Salzburg and Innsbruck Austria.  The Location is unbeatable being only steps away from the main Vail Gondola, lift ticket sales and ski school.  An outdoor Ice rink and covered escalator to the mountain complete the luxury experience. The Arrabelle, managed by Rock Resorts appointed Guru Jeannette Schulze as General Manager.  Rob Katz, CEO of Vail Resorts commented in a press conference that her experience and expertise in the luxury hospitality industry would be extremely beneficial to the Arrabelle.  Ms. Schulze spent 14 years as the manager of the Mandarin Oriental, Washington DC and holds degrees from the Academy for Hotel Industry in Berlin Germany and studied at Cornell.
