Beaver Creek
During its inaugural season, guests found four chairlifts and a temporary bubble structure that served as the ticket office and one lone restaurant. Twenty years later, Beaver Creek has blossomed into a world-class ski resort featuring a pedestrian village set against a rugged Rocky Mountain backdrop.
Prestigious and exceptional quality; it is consistently ranked one of the most popular ski resorts in North America.
In the summer, Beaver Creek has all that Colorado has to offer and more. And throughout the year, the state-of-the-art Vilar Center for the Performing Arts presents concerts, international entertainment and numerous acclaimed community events.
In the winter you can ski steeps, bumps, gladded terrain or enjoy the Vail Valley’s first European village-to-village skiing experience that links Beaver Creek with Bachelor Gulch Village and Arrowhead. Beaver Creek is known worldwide and is a regular stop on the World Cup Ski Tour. In winter 2006, the Larkspur Express opened, making it the fourth high-speed lift to open in the last three years.
There is also a year round ice skating rink in the center of town surrounded by beautiful shops, art galleries and fine dining.
