Local Vail Valley Music Festival Makes Big Impact

Summer in the Vail Valley has several traditions and one of the biggest is Bravo, the Vail Valley’s music festival.  Over 60,000 people attended the outdoor concerts bringing with them $9.3 million.  Visitors spent money dining out, shopping, lodging and food and beverages at the Gerald Ford Amphitheater, which is where the concerts are held. A 2007 survey determined that Thirty three percent of the concertgoers were vacationing and of that group 52% said that the Bravo Vail Valley Music festival was one of the main reasons for visiting Vail.  Surveys performed on these visitors concluded that through spending money on these concerts and subsequent food and dining, $762,428 was collected in taxes.  For more information about Bravo and the incredible array of music visit BravoVailMusic
