Vail Colorado’s Economy, better than Average

The prediction was that the Rocky Mountains were going to have a dry season, forecasts for the Vail economy didn’t appear all that great. Well guess what we have been buried with snow and some epic skiing. Our snow back is about 127% above the average and the big snow months are yet to come. The Climate Prediction Center expects the moisture that is being brought from the Pacific to continue through Spring, which means the snow will continue to fall in Vail.  The snow has brought multiple conventions, tourists and people from Denver, known as front rangers to Vail where bookings are up to 100% in some cases during a time where it is typically slow.  Bookings on last minute deals to Vail are up 107% from last year and it doesn’t look like it’s slowing down because reservations for the rest of the ski season are already up 50% from last year as well.  This is a great year to come to Vail for one of the best snow seasons on record and fantastic new opportunities to own as well.
