The Arrabelle at Vail Square, Vail, Colorado

For the past several years Vail Village, the center of Vail Colorado, America’s number one ski resort, has been the place where people wanted to be seen and to see. Along with Colorado’s best ski terrain, the perfect compliment is five star hotels and condominiums, first class  restuarants and shopping.  Lionshead located at the base of Vail’s only Gondola, has up to now been considered the less chic part of Vail.  It has gone through a fabulous redevelopment.  In January of 2008, Lionshead got an amazing facelift thanks to the ultra luxurious Arrabelle at Vail Square.  The Arrabelle at Vail Square has prompted the entire Lionshead area to take a good look at itself and start trying to play catchup to this amazing structure.

The Arrabelle at Vail Square opened its doors to rave reviews. It is featured in The Robb reports anniversary issue as the Best of the Best and Conde Nast Traveler recently voted Colorado’s Arrabelle at Vail Square as one of the top hottest new hotels in America.  The architectural style was inspired by European towns in Austria, Germany and Prague.  The public spaces are large and grandiose, yet the wood décor makes it feel very warm and cozy to complete your Colorado experience.  The Arrabelle is a combination of 36 hotel rooms and around 66 private residences.  Each of the Arrabelle’s hotel rooms features a floor-to-ceiling armoire, a gas fireplace tucked into a corner, a bed layered in down and a deluxe bathroom with separate shower.  The Residences, of which only a few remain available for purchase, offer distinctive floor plans, stunning views, and high-end luxury finishes.  The residences can also be rented either through the Arrabelle, private owners or other management companies.

Each room is attended to by personal concierges dressed in suede jackets and fur hats who can take care of your every need including carting your ski equipment to the Eagle Bahn gondola located just a few steps from the hotel. Owners of the incredible residences look forward to hotel services including valet parking, concierge services, ski/boot storage, assigned underground parking, 24-hour front desk and security, business center, Avanyu Spa and fitness center access, rooftop pool and hot tubs, storage locker, electronic key card for building and room access, one-touch telephone access to hotel services, cable TV and wireless high-speed Internet access.
A variety of traditional après-ski activities can be found in the newly renovated square, where you can stroll along heated, ice-free walkways, ice-skate at the new illuminated rink across from the Arrabelle, and enjoy home made chocolate and gelato at the new shop.  Additionally, the Arrabelle at Vail Square offers several dining options among them, the fabulous French Bistro called Centre V where chef Thomas Salamunovich creates comforting dishes like coq au vin and cassoulet.

The Arrabelle at Vail Square is only 100 miles west of Denver, Colorado a direct drive on I-70 will take you all the way from the airport to Vail. The easy way to arrive is to fly into Eagle Airport located only 26 miles from the center of Vail.  If you are interested in finding out how to own in this sumptuous building, call us at (970) 790-7051 to get more details on our listings there or view all of the listings in Vail at www.vailvalleyliving.com
